Good news in Co Dublin this morning as 100 new jobs are to be created in a new food plant in Lusk in North Co Dublin by Ballymaguire Foods.
The new positions are estimated to be worth just over €4m a year to the local economy.
The company currently employs 150 people in Lusk and is the largest producer of chilled ready meals for retailers in Ireland.
The company, part of the Country Crest Group, said the new plant will treble production for the UK market.
A further 100 jobs will be generated in the construction of the new plant, which will take nine months to complete.
