Twenty-five new jobs are being created by a facility management company in Loughrea, Co. Galway. Neylon Maintenance is creating the jobs as part of a 1 million euro investment in a new software support centre.
It’s to produce the company’s new cloud-based software, Flex FMS, which has already proven popular among its existing client base.
Annnouncing the expansion plans, Neylon Maintenance Managing Director, Sylvester Neylon said;
“Our decision to re-invest in Loughrea reflects our commitment to the local community and reflects the confidence we have in the quality of the workforce in East Galway. We have had major national and international interest in our new facility management software Flex FMS. We anticipate a huge demand for the software driven by organisations needs to deliver high standards of compliance in today’s regulatory and challenging economic environment.”
Building work on the new centre begins this week and recruitment for the new jobs has begun.
Neylon Maintenance is the largest Irish-owned supplier of facility management services to the private hospital sector as well as nursing homes and state bodies.
The company currently employs 276 people nationwide.
Michelle is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree specialising in Human Resource Management.
After graduating from NUIG, Michelle spent 3.5 years working in the Financial Services industry in Dublin and completed a Professional Diploma in Financial Advice in 2016.
Michelle joined CareerWise as a Recruitment Consultant in March 2018 and is based in our Galway office.
Since joining Careerwise, Michelle completed the NRF Programme in Recruitment Practice and is currently studying a Diploma in Human Resource Management in the Athlone Institute of Technology.
