Global communications company AOL is to expand its Dublin development centre with the creation of 40 new software engineering jobs over the next 12 months.
The new roles are for junior and senior positions within AOL Ireland and candidates will need industry experience work as well experience working with programming languages such as Java, Erlang and C++.
The 40 new positions are within AOL Networks, a team that is spear-heading the delivery of AOL’s programmatic advertising solutions for brands and publishers globally. AOL Networks brands include ADTECH, Advertising.com, The AOL On Network, Be On and Pictela. The announcement comes as AOL continues to expand its reach as a provider of digital content, advertising solutions and services through a wide range of brands including The Huffington Post, Engadget, TechCrunch and MapQuest.

AOL has been based in Dublin for 16 years and currently employs 170 people. Dublin is the development engine for Europe and works alongside sister development centres in Palo Alto, Dulles, New York, Baltimore and Frankfurt.

The company will be launching its 2014 Technology Graduate Programme in August 2013.
Louise has a Marketing Degree from Limerick Institute of Technology. She has also completed a Certificate in Personnel Practice from the National College of Ireland. She is also CIPD accredited. She has 16 years Recruitment experience with Collins McNicholas (Dublin, Galway & Athlone), HRM (Dublin), Lionbridge (Mayo) and Team Horizon (Mayo & Dublin).
She has also worked in Quality Assurance in Allergan (Mayo) & with Ballina Beverages (Mayo).
She has successful recruitment experience involving key roles within Human Resources, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Planning for large multinational companies. She was involved in recruiting all levels including Senior Management for the Medical Devices, Electronic, Pharmaceutical & Manufacturing Industries both on the contracting and permanent side of the business. She has developed a Strong Network of Engineers built up over the last 16 years as she worked in the Mayo, Sligo, Dublin, Athlone and Galway Markets.
