Tekelek Group are a leading provider of level sensing and tank monitoring solutions for oil, LPG/gas and water. The announcement of their recent €2 million acquisition of Cambridgeshire based Ingenion Design Ltd. is funded from its own resources, and is very welcome news for the locality.
Founded in 1995 by Liscannor native Peter McCarthy, Tekelek employs nearly 30 people in the Shannon Free Zone and at sister plant in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare – Forcefield Active Technology.
About Tekelek Group
Tekelek manufactures electronic control systems for the tank-monitoring and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls market. It specialises in niche product requirements where innovation and flexibility is the key.
Its tank monitoring division provides solutions for domestic fuel users, fuel distribution companies, industrial and water sectors. Solutions include tank sensors, remote monitoring systems and web-based information systems.
Its HVAC controls division designs and manufactures customised electronic controls for the HVAC sector. It designs and manufactures product for leading brands in the domestic boiler, cooker and heating appliance markets.
With an increasing emphasis on water management, Tekelek’s water tank monitoring business is set to grow. The company has already partnered with distributors In Australia, US, and other world markets.
