CareerWise Recruitment Take Part In Shannon Airport Bank of Ireland Runway Run 2016

CareerWise Take Part In Bank of Ireland Runway Run 2016Midnight Friday 17th of June saw 2,500 people run down Ireland’s longest runway in support of iCan and Abalta Special School.

Only in its third year, the event this year drew its biggest crowd yet; double its inaugural staging in 2014 when 1,200 went to the start line in what was the first ever such event at an Irish airport.

Marty Morrissey entertained the athletes, shot the starting gun and then ran down the steps and onto the runway to join the 5k race. It was  great night, and we would like to say well done to the crew at Shannon Airport and all the volunteers on the night.

CareerWise staff taking part in the event were Michael O’Connor, Gillian Murphy and Kathy Austin.
