Finance Assistant

A global multinational manufacturing company in Limerick are currently seeking a Finance Assistant for an initial 12 month contract.

This is a perfect role for somebody looking to jump back into the working world, or for someone who’s current contract is coming to an end.

This is a hybrid role in Limerick.

Please see below some of the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process.

Role of this position

* Supporting business stakeholders to ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms.

* Provides general support to the finance group.

• Producing reports, schedules and summaries for operational activities and business reviews.
• Actively seeking and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Adhoc duties assisting within the Finance Department
• Managing local payments ensuring all documentation is fully compliant

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  2+ years experience in a finance assistant, Accounts Payable or similar position

  Working knowledge of P2P process

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate as part of a team is critical.
• Must be able to work on own initiative.
• Strong MS Excel
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment desirable
