Inventory Specialist

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our client located in Cork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods. The successful candidate will help maintain the smooth flow of inventory processes.

Role of this position

• Maintaining accurate stock levels and conducting regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinating with other departments to facilitate efficient stock movements and address any issues promptly.
• Implementing health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.
• Collaborating with the Operations Manager to optimise warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Waste management & disposal

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control processes.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
