Management Accountant

CareerWise are looking to recruit a Managment Accountant for a reputable client in the North Cork area. This role would be suitable to an Accountant looking to progress their career in a highly professional Finance department, with a competitive salary and benefits package. This is an initial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract but there is scope for a permanent role for the right candidate

Role of this position

• Responsability for the Accounts Payable Function
• Variance Analysis, Costing, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Prepare and execute electronic transfers and payments
• Daily review of the groups FX exposure
• Preparing Audit and Tax files
• Preparing Financial Information for Senior Management to make key business decisions
• Ad Hoc duties when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA)
• Logistics Accounting experience preferable but not essential
• Payroll experience essential
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• The ability to work off own initiative to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
