Production Operator

Our client, a Cork based leading designer and manufacturer of high reliability electronic motor control solutions, are recruiting for a number of  Production Operator roles across product assembly test functions. 12 month initial contract roles with full benefits.

THE ROLE 

* Perform assembly of electronic modules and systems.

• Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners
• Perform manual assembly of PCB’s and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly    procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings and SOP’s
• Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components.
• Application of adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
• Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required. 

REQUIREMENTS 

• 2 + years relevant experience/knowledge of electronics  assembly functions would be  preferable.
• Detail orientated
• Problem Solving capabilities
• Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and their application an advantage
• Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
