Senior Accountant

My client, a leading Retail Accountancy and Consulting firm are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant for their West Cork office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitous Accountant to work in a fast-paced environment with the chance to work on a number of key projects and provides career progression.

Role of this position

• Preparation and Review of Month End Accounts
• Variance Analysis, Costing and Busgeting
• Overseeing the Accounts Payable function
• Preparing and Submitting Tax Returns
• Management of 2 or 3 Junior staff on a daily bsis
• Presenting Financial Information to Senior Managment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Qualififed Accountant (ACCA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
• Retail Experience an advantage
• Comfortable in dealing with clients, presenting financial analysis to them, and suggesting operational and financial improvements
• Strong Attention to Detail
• The ability to meet strict deadline in a timely and efficient manner
