Senior Project Engineer (Product/Process Design)

A Senior Project Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based client. The Contractor must have excellent understanding of Product and Process Design. Must have the ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams. Must have demonstrated problem solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools. Must have Stamp 4 minimum qualification, Level 8 Technical degree, 5 Years similar experience. Contracting 40 hours a week. Work Location: Galway – SO MUST BE BASED locally HYBRID: Onsite, with the flexibility to Work From Home on occasions

Role of this position

• As a member of our team, you will actively participate in areas of product development and released product management including sustaining operations project, process design & development, product lifecycle management, day to day run the business activities and post market quality and regulatory requirements.
• Take initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute on processes and systems.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.
• Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your new and existing skills in project management, lean sigma, and process development.
• Lead and support the process development, characterisation, and validation activities for changes to commercial products.
• Collaborate, document, and present all learnings to project and functional teams.
• Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
• Good understanding of product and process design
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.

• Good understanding of product and process design.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross functional relationships.
• Good organizational, presentation and project management skills
