Ken Murphy of CareerWise attended and presented at the INRALS (International Network of Recruitment Agencies for Life Sciences) held on October 2016 in Milan, Italy.
The event was hosted by INRALS member Pharmapoint and excellent progress was made in terms of driving the organisation forward. Strong links were made during the meetings and social events to help partners get know and understand how owner managed specialist recruitment companies can work together across the 20 member countries.
Two new members, England’s outsourcing specialist CK Clinical (www.ckclinical.co.uk) and Norway (www.borka.no) played an active part in the meeting and showed their passion to expand the network. The members celebrated the successes of the last year, shared experiences, market knowledge and best practices to further fine tune the performance of the network.
Several marketing initiatives and methods to intensify global collaboration were set up.
www.derksenderks.nl and www.vandycke-partners.com initiated the network 5 years ago because the labour market is highly internationalised and top talent is not bound to regions. Jan Derks: “for both candidates and companies with recruitment needs, a specialised global network is a must”. Michel Vandycke continues: “The many collaborations amongst members and the global tenders that have already been realised are the best proof of this statement”.
