More than 150 new jobs have been promised for Dublin by two fast-growing technology companies.
100 positions are to be created by US jobs and recruitment website Glassdoor, while peer-to-peer currency exchange Currency Fair is expanding its workforce by at least 50 over the next year.
Set up in 2007 with its headquarters in California, Glassdoor is a website that enables would-be employees to find jobs, read reviews about potential employers, and find out about salaries and interview systems in particular firms.
It has 34 million registered users in 190 countries around the globe and eight country-specific websites.
Alongside the launch of its website glassdoor.ie today, the company will also announce that it is opening a European headquarters in Dublin in January.
It will see 100 people recruited in areas including sales, marketing and customer support over the next three years, with hiring already under way.
Separately, the peer-to-peer currency marketplace Currency Fair is also expanding.
It currently employs around 80 people in Ranelagh, Dublin but is about to move into new offices in Ballsbridge with capacity for over 200.
At least 50 new employees are to be taken on in the next year, with sources saying it is likely further expansion will follow.
