Rye River set to create 250 jobs in Co Kildare with new brewery
The Rye River Brewing Company will be building the biggest independent brewery in Ireland, bringing 150 permanent jobs and 100 construction positions. The new jobs will be created over the net three years.

It currently employs 54 people but these numbers are set to treble. A further 150 people will be employed permamently at an 8,000 sq ft, state of the art visitor centre. Rye River produce a range of fifteen beers, including their own brand McGargle, and serve as a distribution centre for imported brands like Bavaria and San Miguel.
With an investment of €4million into the new plant and visitor centre, Rye River Brewing Company will bring €12.5 million to the local economy. The new roles will be spread among manufacturing, customer service, brewing, export and management.
It is hopeful that the plant will open in late Spring 2016.
