Although 2016 has been a good year in recruitment, I think a lot of people will be happy to say goodbye to 2016 and look forward to what 2017 has to offer.
Overall, it’s been quite a shocking, and at times horrible year . There have been a number of terror attacks and the world is going through a time of political turbulence after Brexit and the US Presidential Election.
We have lost many cultural icons from the music world, like Prince, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen and Glenn Frey. We lost stars from the acting world like Alan Rickman and Gene Wilder and we also lost sporting icons Mohamed Ali and Arnold Palmer.
There’s a lot of uncertainty in the world at the moment, all of the above along with the fact that you maybe stuck in a job you hate. It would make it easy to be in a negative place and want to go home and hide under the duvet.
But let’s not panic just yet, make a pledge to make 2017 your year!
