Accountant

My client, a reputable company situated in Kerry, is looking to recruit an Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a progressive role that offers a very competitive salary, benefits, career progression and the opportunity to work directly with the Financial Controller and the wider Finance team.

Role of this position

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis
• Tax - VAT, RTD, Intrastat RCT CIS Returns
• Bank Reconciliations, Revenue, Debtors and Creditors
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Presenting reports to Senior Management to drive key decisions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA
• Experience using Sage or a similar ERP package
• Strong understanding of accounts processes for accruals, ledgers and project costing
• Experience in industry an advantage
• Advanced Excel & Pivot Tables
