Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with our Limerick based medical device manufacturing client on a12 month contract position.

Role of this position

• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop electrical system plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Provide technical expertise in the design and layout of electrical systems for construction projects.
• Participate in design briefing and engaging in design reviews - ensuring the user requirements are communicated and represented.
• Supervise and inspect the installation of electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and construction teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Coordinate closely with construction teams to address any electrical-related challenges and modifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a construction setting.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial experience.
