Facilities Technician

Facilities Technician required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client based in Clare. In this position you will have exposure to a varied role. You will contribute to the day to day running of the business and be involved in various projects. You will ensure that the buildings, grounds, assets, and equipment are safe to use for all employees.

Role of this position

• Ensure all facilities equipment scheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
• Implement a scheduled maintenance system for the entire site. Maintain all documentation related to the site and equipment.
• Respond to site failures outside normal operational hours and provide remote assistance where appropriate.
• Provide accurate reporting as necessary, including weekly report data and the use of excel/word documents.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or Building services is preferred but other disciplines may be considered.)
