Financial Controller - West Cork

My client, a family run company in West Cork, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This role will work directly with the owners and offers the right candidate the chance to progress their career in a progressive environment.

Role of this position

• Provide accurate Financial Data to owners to drive key decisions
• Budgeting, Forecasting, Costing and Variance Analysis
• Ensure relevant Accounting standards are being adhered to
• Oversee the company's AR and AP systems and Processes
• Preparation Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Management Reports
• Make sure all tax return deadlines are met
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on the audit process
• Review of junior Members work
• Monitor cash balances and Forecasts

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Qualification
• 5 Years PQE
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment an advantage
• Strong Business Acumen
• The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
