Manufacturing Process Specialist

CareerWise Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Specialist for our Cork based MN client. This is an initial 12 month contract. The successful candidate will oversee column packing operations across multiple suites. The MPS will collaborate with two shift teams to optimize operations using Chromaflow and AxiChrom packing platforms. The role involves providing technical support, coordinating manufacturing PO releases, maintaining documentation accuracy, and leading the introduction of NPIs. Additionally, the MPS will optimize current column packing procedures THE ROLE

• Provide technical Support to column packing operations to maintain production schedule
• Investigate and optimize column packing operations
• Coordinating release of manufacturing PO's with MES and QA departments
• Coordinating release of chromatography columns to the manufacturing suites
• Maintain accurate Work Instructions, MES batch records, TrackWise and TruVault documentation
• Facilitate/coordinate the introductions of NPI's from column packing perspective
• Optimization of current column packing procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant third-level qualification in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Science, or Engineering.
• Manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Project/new equipment installation experience.
• Process engineering experience.
• Commissioning and qualification experience.
• Postgraduate Qualification.
• Experience with DCS (e.g., Delta V), SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Experience with SAP, LIM's, and/or other business systems.
