Mechanical Project Engineer

A Mechanical Project Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with our Co. Limerick client on a 2-year contract position.

Role of this position

• Prepares concept designs, risk assessments and budget estimates.
• Ensures that engineering design calculations are completed, maintain all documents, overseeing new or updated drawings for projects or plant modifications.
• Prepares project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials and material purchases as required to implement the projects.
• Liaises with the project team and contractors during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
• Ensures all equipment is registered on the maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriately.
• Reports regularly on project status, schedule and budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Strong people and communication skills.
