Production Manager

A Production Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mayo based Food client based in Mayo.If you want have experience as a Chef managing people this would suit you !!!

Role of this position

• Liaise with supervisors to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
• Monitor production to resolve issues.
• Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Promote and enforce Employee Hygiene Procedures.
• Take a proactive approach to potential production issues.
• Responsible for scheduling, training, and support for the production crew.
• Recording yields and monitoring production efficiencies.
• Liaise with supervisors and administration staff to identify/discuss performance improvements.
• Ensure investment / changes on factory floor, including processes are adhered to.
• Must be able to tackle a reluctance to change.
• Oversee investment in labelling software and efficiencies / product flow.
• Ensure production plans are followed to maximise efficiencies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3rd level qualification in food science or a related discipline
• Ideally 3-5 years' experience
• Knowledge of HACCP and BRC
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Own transport and full clean driver's licence
