Production Manager

Production Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork-based client.

Role of this position

• Monitors the use and maintains accurate inventories of raw materials, and initiates reordering when necessary.
• Use CI tools to drive process improvements and problem-solving across the plant in areas of Production, Safety and Cost.
• Monitor key production metrics such as throughput, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), PM compliance, and assist in the scheduling thereof.
• Responsible for sampling and assessment of finished out-loading samples.
• Manage and collaborate with plant operations personnel ensuring they are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the production program can be accomplished daily.
• Planning, scheduling, and control of stock movements.
• Head up key projects supporting plant efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification Required: 3rd level qualification (Agriculture, Engineering, Food Science, Business)
• 4 years of Production Supervision experience required (Agri or Food).
