Senior Project Process Engineer

A SENIOR PROJECT PROCESS ENGINEER is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our pharmaceutical client in Waterford for an on-site, contract role for 23 months. The SENIOR PROJECT PROCESS ENGINEER will provide project engineering support and leadership to support internal customers in the delivery of site capital projects, enabling delivery of high-quality projects safely, on time and within budget. The primary focus will be the capacity expansion project.

Role of this position

• Lead in the management process/schedule and facilitate project team meetings as required
• Ensure project methodology is clear and integrated into the project from initiation onwards
• Ensure documentation, training and handover meet the internal customers' expectations
• Ensure all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards, conforming to company policy, cGMP, SOP and regulatory guidelines.
• Liaise with contractors/customers when external resources are required to complete project works, acting as site contact.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree (Level 8) or higher preferred; ideally in a Science, Engineering or Other Technical discipline
• 5+ years' engineering experience in a similar technical environment
• Previous project management experience and/or qualification is a distinct advantage
