Trainee Accountant

I am currently working with an excellent West Cork based client, an independent financial services practice and they are seeking recent graduates who want to pursue a career in Accountancy. These candidates, Trainee Accountants, must be situated in West Cork where they can commute to the office daily, and must have graduated recently from a Business, Accounting or similar degree.

Role of this position

• Preparation of financial statements for clients.
• Preparation of financial highlights disclosures for financial statements.
• Preparation of management accounts on a periodic basis.
• Liaising with external parties in relation to financial statements, including investment managers, administrators, auditors and other service providers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Related Honours degree,
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Office 365.
• Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.
• Industry experience in Accounting would be a distinct advantage.
• Must be located in or near West Cork.
